Unter "weitelesen" findet ihr Infos zu den neuen Releases von Arpioni Malacabeza und Los Fastidios auf Mad Butcher Records.
BBR 051 ARPIONI MALACABEZA Arpioni is a musical collective formed by more than ten person, born 14 years ago in Bergamo (Italy). They begin playng live shows in many clubs, becoming well know in the italian ska scene. In '93 they take part in the first italian ska compilation 'SKANDALO AL SOLE' (Vow Pop). In '95 they produce their first cd 'PAPALAGI', after several shows begins the partnership with GRIDALO FORTE RECORDS, famous indipendent label from Rome, that decide to produce three years later 'IN MEZZO AI GUAI', second album of the band. In '99 (as backing band) they tour with Laurel Aitken, also known as The Godfather of Ska, and in summer they record their third cd 'UN MONDO IN LEVERE', produced by Kaki Arkarazo appreciated sound engeneer that worked also with Manu Chao, Amparanoia, Fermin Muguruza.In september '01 come out the fourth album 'BUONA MISTA SOCIAL SKA', a collection of italian traditional songs played in their personal ska style.In may '05 the last release 'MALACABEZA' (Alternative Produzioni) an album characterized by a big variety of musical styles, from trad ska of course, to latin and italian traditional songs ska revisited. In the album there are a lot of important features, like Tonino Carotone (thefamous singer from Pamplona with who they also tour in Italy), Roy Paci (the explosive Manu Chao's trumpet in Radio Bemba Sound System) and many others.Arpioni played in every corner of Italy and also in Europe (Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Czech Rep., and other), if you can, come to see their crazy italian ska-folk show...try and believe it!Stefano 'Kino' Ferri - vox, Franco Scarpellini - guitar/ backing vocals, Antonello 'Tonno' Gini - bass, Giacomo 'Vice' Vicentini - keyboards, Dario 'P.G.' Milan - drum, Pier Muccio - trombone/backing vocals, Guglielmo 'Facco' Facchinetti - tenor sax/backing vocals Los Fastidios - REBELS'N'REVELS (CD/LP) The Zapatist sun on the album cover shows in advance about the Lyrics of REBELS'n'REVELS, the new Los Fastidios album: riot, anger, fight and love.The sound of REBELS'n'REVELS mix differents street music styles:streetpunk, ska, oi!, rock'n'roll, combat, h.c., punk rock..There is a biggest care in the sound and in the songs arrangements and thanx to the two new guitarplayers the new album sounds more powerfull and mature than in the previous albums.The Lyrics are strong and radical, it's a sunny and positive album watching to the future with hope and feelings of fight, redemption and revenge for all the living beings. The themes are the ones always dealed by Los Fastidios : social engageement, rights, house, salary, house, , militant antifascism, animal rights, anti imperialism, anti capitalism. In the album there are also, as usual, fun songs about parties, pints, street, football and hooligans tales..in the typical Los Fastidios style: Rebels'n'Revels!!!! The tracklist conteins also the song Buscando el Sol written by Filippo(of the Atarassia Grop band) for Los Fastidios. As usual Los Fastidios take a particular care in the graphic part of the album, in the booklet all the the Lyrics are translated in english and in french languages. LP available in May.
